Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services & Grass Type and Mowing Height Guide (Georgia Lawns)

New Beginning Landscape & Remodel LLC provides professional landscaping, lawn care, and remodeling services for residential and commercial clients. All work is performed per approved estimates or signed agreements. Additional work requested outside the agreed scope must be authorized in writing.

Mowing Standards: Our standard mowing height is 2.5 inches, which balances appearance, root health, and weed suppression. Heights can be adjusted upon client request before service.

Recommended Mowing Heights by Grass Type:
Bermuda: 1.0 – 2.0 inches
Zoysia: 1.0 – 2.5 inches
Centipede: 1.5 – 2.0 inches
St. Augustine: 2.5 – 4.0 inches
Tall Fescue: 2.5 – 3.5 inches

Cutting grass below its ideal height may cause stress, discoloration, or weed intrusion. By approving service, the Client acknowledges that New Beginning Landscape & Remodel LLC follows industry-standard mowing practices for optimal turf health.

2. Proposal Validity

All quotes are valid for seven (7) days from issue. Prices and scheduling may change afterward.

3. Payments, Deposits & Card on File

A 75% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve and schedule any project. Remaining balances are due immediately upon completion unless stated otherwise. All Clients must maintain a valid card on file, which will be charged automatically after each completed service.

Late payments incur an 18% service charge and may delay future work. Declined or failed transactions are subject to additional processing fees. A fuel surcharge will be applied to each invoice to offset operational expenses. This surcharge will be itemized separately and reviewed periodically in line with market fuel rates.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Missed or skipped services without notice will be billed at 100% of the regular mowing rate to cover reserved crew time, travel, and scheduling. Overgrown lawns at the next visit may incur extra labor or equipment fees. The company reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety, or operational issues.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure access to their property and keep areas clear of obstructions such as vehicles, toys, hoses, or debris. Pets and children must remain indoors or away from the work area.

6. Warranty & Disclaimers

Plant materials are warranted for 30 days after installation under proper care. The company is not responsible for damage caused by neglect, vandalism, acts of nature, or third-party interference.

7. Liability & Damages

New Beginning Landscape & Remodel LLC is fully insured and operates with care and professionalism. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded, and total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.

8. Irrigation & Watering

Clients should avoid watering lawns the night before or the day of scheduled service, as wet grass prevents a clean cut and proper cleanup. New Beginning Landscape & Remodel LLC is not responsible for damage or malfunction of third-party irrigation or sprinkler systems. Inspection, testing, and repair services are available for an additional fee.

9. Property Damage Policy

New Beginning Landscape & Remodel LLC takes great care to avoid property damage. If damage occurs, it must be reported within 24 hours of the incident. Approved repairs will be performed by the company or an authorized contractor. Unauthorized third-party repairs will not be reimbursed.

Damages Not Covered Include: Air-conditioning wiring, fences, retaining walls, irrigation components, lighting fixtures, trampolines, pools, toys, furniture, or any unmarked/hidden items. If crews must move personal property (e.g., furniture, playsets), the company is not responsible for any damage occurring during or after relocation.

10. Photo & Media Use

Before-and-after photos are taken for documentation. With client consent, select images may be used for marketing or social media. Identifying information is never shared without approval.

11. Privacy

Client information is used solely for service delivery and is never sold or shared. All data is handled per applicable privacy laws.

12. Lawn Service Policy

Regular lawn care is provided on a weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, or monthly schedule as agreed in writing. Service days may vary slightly due to weather or holidays. Missed visits from inaccessible yards or locked gates are charged in full. Clients must maintain an active card on file; late or declined payments will incur fees and may suspend service.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, with venue in Fulton County Courts.

14. Service Overview

Each mowing visit includes:
Mowing – Standard height 2.5 inches (adjustable upon request).
Trimming / Edging – Neat finish around driveways, sidewalks, and borders.
Power Blowing – Even redistribution of mulched clippings.

Additional Fees:
Tall-grass surcharge – $85.
Excess clipping or debris disposal – billed per job.

15. Termination Policy

Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice. Cancellations without notice may incur charges equal to the reserved service cost. Seasonal or early terminations may result in future rate adjustments.

If a client cancels service before completing 12 months of scheduled service, early termination fees apply:
Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Tri-Weekly, or Monthly Mowing: $250 or 18% of remaining balance (whichever is greater).
Remodeling or Landscaping Services: $500 or 18% of remaining balance (whichever is greater).

These fees cover administrative, scheduling, and resource commitments made in advance.

16. Text Messaging Terms & Conditions (SMS Policy)

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive service reminders, updates, and promotional messages from New Beginning Landscape & Remodel LLC. Message frequency varies by service schedule. Standard carrier rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Your information is stored securely and used solely for communication regarding your services.
